Step 1:
Determine who you want to be able to view the photos.  I want only Bluewater Chapter members to be able to view the Photos you will want to create a Private gallery.  If you want anyone on the internet to view your photos create a public gallery.

Step 2:
In the left column there is a block with your username at the top.  In this block there are links to create Private and Public galleries.

From this block select either Private Gallery or Public Gallery.
 

Step 3:
In this example we have selected a Public gallery.

Enter a name for your gallery.

Step 4:
Then, click on the Browse button to select a file from your PC to be added to the gallery.

Select the file, then click on the Open button.

Step 5:
On the next screen, click on the upload button.  This copies the photo from your PC to the website.

Step 6:
Enter a caption for your photo in the description field.

Step 7:
Click on the  "Add another item"  button to add another photo.
Once you have added all the photos, click on the "Save" button to create your gallery.
The website will automatically format the photos you have uploaded and create the gallery display.

Step 8:
Note:  The photo must be in the correct orientation before it is uploaded, you will not be able to rotate the image after it has been added to the gallery.
